Daily Pages

Creative Writing is more than just words on a page; it’s the expression of a story told imaginatively and uniquely through the eyes of a protagonist.

It’s a tapestry of ideas, emotions, and concepts woven together to create something unforgettable. Creative writing should be bold, free, and without limits. It should spark curiosity, ignite open dialogue, and enrage the masses.

At its heart, creative writing is the pursuit of personal freedom and self-expression, clear, commanding, and authentic. A story reveals itself while the writer quietly disappears behind the craft.

That’s where Daily Pages comes in. Whether you’ve never written a story before or you’ve got notebooks of unfinished ideas hidden away, Daily Pages will help you turn sparks of imagination into completed stories.

This is storytelling with structure, imagination, costumes, and props, you create the characters, shape their journeys, and bring them vividly to life. One page at a time, Daily Pages guides you with prompts, frameworks, and milestones, making writing accessible, inspiring, and fun.

Daily Pages is a one-month creative writing program designed to build momentum without pressure or judgment. Every day, you’ll receive prompts that unlock new story-building gate from the Catalyst to The Fall to the Final Image, fifteen in total, to give depth and flow to your writing. With just thirty minutes a day, you’ll develop the habit, discipline, and confidence of a true creative writer.

And the benefits go far beyond storytelling. As you write, you’ll strengthen your clarity, communication, and confidence. You’ll see improvements in business writing, report writing, journaling, public speaking, even in how you express your thoughts. The skills you gain with Daily Pages will help you communicate more effectively in every aspect of life.

Step into your creative freedom. Write with vision, clarity, and imagination. Build confidence in your voice and discover the joy of writing; one page at a time.

A Bit About The Program

Welcome

Greetings, my fine entrepreneurial writing companion.

Singers practice their scales each day. Musicians practice their instrument each day. Painters paint a study. Artists sketch. The concept of Daily Pages is to exercise your creative talents on a daily basis. Writers need to write a page a day to hone their skills. Welcome to Daily Pages, your new writing companion.

Whether you’ve never written a story in your life or you’ve got a notebook full of them

under your bed, you’re in the right place.

This is storytelling with imagination, structure, costumes, and props.

You’ll get to create your own characters, shape their journey, and bring them to life.

You're in control of each character's destiny.

One page at a time.

Daily Pages is for Beginners and Veterans

Don’t worry if you’ve never written before.

And if you have written stories, poems, or comics, that’s awesome too.

Daily Pages is made for everyone.

Especially people who want to get better, grow braver, and have fun while doing it.

The Program Has a Structure

You’ll always know what’s coming next.

Each writing exercise is part of a plan.

It’s not about being perfect; it’s about showing up, building your writing muscles,

and making progress every day.

Character-Based Writing With a Costume and a Prop

You won’t just write characters, you’ll imagine them wearing a certain costume

and holding a prop.

This helps your brain come alive with ideas.

A detective in sparkly shoes?

A pirate with a teddy bear?

The stranger the better!

Each Exercise Has a Beginning, Middle, and End

Stories feel satisfying when they’re shaped just right.

Every writing task helps you practice writing:

  • beginnings (starting strong),

  • middles (the messy action), and

  • endings (the emotional or twisty finish).

We guide you every step of the way to ensure your progress moves at your pace.

Writing Stage Gates As You Progress

Think of “stage gates” as story checkpoints.

These help your story grow deeper and more exciting.

You’ll start simple, and every time you move forward, you unlock a new gate

and a new level of writing magic.

You'll make the magic happen.

All 15 Creative Writing Stage Gates

By the end of the program, you’ll know how to use all 15 major

creative writing stage gates.

These include things like:

  • The Catalyst,

  • The Fall,

  • The Breakthrough, and

  • Final Image.

Once you learn them, they’ll live in your storyteller’s toolkit forever.

You Can Do This, Even if You're Busy

Each exercise is short.

You only need a little time and a little space to get started.

Whether you’re juggling homework or hobbies, you can still do your Daily Pages.

It’s all about building a routine, not writing a masterpiece.

Creative Writing Helps With More

Daily Pages will help you become a better writer in everything.

Better in business, schoolwork, journaling, emails, speeches, and even your thoughts.

You’ll learn how to express yourself clearly and confidently.

You'll learn how to communicate in the right way.

You'll learn how to confidently express yourself and, point of view in brevity

and with strength.

Everyone will listen to you.

Writing is Great for Mental Health Too

Writing helps get big feelings out of your head and onto the page.

It gives your brain a calm place to play, create, and reflect.

Daily Pages is like a personal journal with superpowers.

You’ll Build Confidence, One Page at a Time

The more you write, the more you’ll believe in your voice.

By the end, you’ll have a bunch of stories you created from scratch.

And you’ll feel proud. That’s the real goal: to discover what you can do.

Ready to get started?

Grab your pen, your prop, and your courage.

Let’s write about what you know, and what you don't.

FAQs
Lunchtime Writers – daily pages FAQs
Getting Started

What is Daily Pages?
Daily Pages is a creative writing program offering daily structured prompts designed to spark imagination and build writing habits.

Who is Lunchtime Writers for?
It’s for everyone, whether you’ve never written a story or you’re a seasoned storyteller.

Do I need writing experience?
No. The program is beginner-friendly and equally valuable for experienced writers.

What’s the minimum commitment?
Just one page a day. That’s it.

How long does each exercise take?
Most exercises take about 30 minutes to complete. My mentor insisted a story only takes as long as it needs to take. Your story timing is up to you.

Do I need to write at lunchtime?
Nope. “Lunchtime” is just a fun name. Write whenever works for you.

Is this a course or a program?
It’s a structured program, not a traditional course. Think of it as your Writer’s Gym.

Can kids join too?
Yes, but parental guidance is recommended for younger participants due to the emotional nature of creative writing.

What supplies do I need?
A pen or keyboard, a bit of time, and a prop from your imagination.

Is there an app for this?
Not yet, but it’s fully accessible on any device with a web browser.

Writing Process

What’s a writing prop?
It’s an object your character holds; a tool for imagination, like a rubber duck or telescope.

What do you mean by ‘costume’?
Each character wears something unique that shapes the story’s mood or genre.

Do I have to follow the prompt exactly?
Nope. Use it as inspiration, you can take it wherever you like. Yet, it's advisable to stick to writing structure. Play within the boundaries.

What if I don’t finish my page?
No problem. Progress, not perfection. Pick it up at a later stage, as your next writing exercise will start the next day.

Can I skip prompts and come back later?
Yes, the prompts are flexible. Your pace, your rules. Pick it up at a later stage, as your next writing exercise will start the next day.

What are Story Stage Gates?
They’re checkpoints that guide your story: Catalyst, The Fall, Breakthrough, etc.

Will I learn storytelling structure?
Absolutely. You’ll practice beginnings, middles, and ends in every task.

Do I get feedback on my writing?
Not by default. This is your private creative space. But community options may open soon.

Can I write poetry, memoir, or nonfiction?
Yes! The prompts are adaptable for any genre or style.

Do I have to keep what I write?
Nope. Burn it, save it, or frame it. It’s yours to do with as you like.

Benefits

Will this help my mental health?
Yes. Writing can reduce stress, release emotions, and boost creativity.

How will this help me in business or school?
You’ll gain stronger communication skills and confidence expressing ideas. Learn to deliver a powerful punch with a beginning, a middle, and an end. Every story needs a memorable ending.

Can this improve my journaling?
Definitely. You’ll learn how to write clearly and reflectively.

Is this therapy?
No, but many people find it therapeutic.

What if I’m too busy?
That’s exactly who this was made for, busy, brilliant people who want one moment of creativity a day. Busy people always find time to do more when what they are doing is structured.

How do I join?
Purchase module one by signing up via the Lunchtime Writers portal, at the top of this page.

Is this a subscription?
No, each module is a one-time purchase unless otherwise stated.
